CARRY ON THE TRADITION
GRANDVIEW CIVIC WELFARE CLUB
34TH ANNUAL LUMINARIA SALE
Be prepared on December 24th to have your supplies ready to line your walkway with luminaria. Candles are placed in a bag with sand or birdseed in the bottom.
Light your candles and for 10 hours the streets of Grandview will shine!
All proceeds benefit the Grandview Civic Welfare Scholarship Fund.  Since 1996, Grandview Civic has awarded over $55,000 in scholarships to Grandview High School Students.
Luminary’s will be on sale at the Holiday Christmas Tree Lighting which is December 7th on Grandview Ave., between First and Third Ave.  If you order using the link below, please bring your confirmation with you when you pick up your order.

  • Grandview Baseball and Softball Association
    This summer GBSA will be offering youth baseball and softball teams. The following are our leagues that will be offered (grades as of the 2021-22 school year):Baseball:
     Mosquito League (coach pitch): grades 1 & 2
     Intermediate League (kid pitch): grades 3 & 4
     Major League (kid pitch): grades 5 & 6
     
    Softball:
     Mosquito League (coach pitch): grades 1 & 2
     Intermediate League (kid pitch): grades 3 & 4
     Major League (kid pitch): grades 5 & 6
    Each team will play 10-12 games and compete in the end of the season league tournament.  Games for all leagues may require travel to some away fields such as Bexley (baseball), Upper Arlington (softball), and Gahanna (softball). 
    The fees for participation are:
    Coach Pitch Leagues: $100
    Kid Pitch Leagues: $105Registration will begin on January 24th and close on March 15th.

  • Northwest Kiwanis Soccer (1st thru 6th grade)
    Northwest Kiwanis Youth Soccer has been around for more than 50 years providing recreational soccer for youth in Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff and Upper Arlington.
    Fall 2021/Spring 2022Grades 1-6 Program

  • GYFA Football 
    • About: The GYFA is celebrating their 20th season of providing the youth of Grandview a FUN and SAFE environment. The program teaches teamwork, general fitness, the basics of football, and self-esteem. The GYFA is open to ALL girls and boys that will be attending Kindergarten- 6th grade in the fall of 2021.
    • Registration: Early Bird Discounted Registration opens on 5/7 and closes on 5/31. The deadline to participate in the 2021 Fall Season is 7/23. You can register for the fall season at grandviewyouthfootball.com. Registration includes a custom jersey with name, 2021 t-shirt, equipment, homecoming parade, awards banquet, and team building activities.
    • Leagues: Freshman Flag (Kindergarten) Sophomore Flag (1st and 2nd Grade) Junior Instructional Tackle (3rd and 4th Grade) Senior Tackle (5th and 6th Grade)
    • Fall Season: Flag practices start on 8/10. Tackle conditioning starts 8/3. There are typically two practices a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays with games on Sundays.

  • GYFA Cheerleading (1st thru 6th grade)
    Grandview Youth Cheerleading AssociationOpen to students who will be entering grades 1st-6th in the fall; this season cheerleaders will be grouped together based on their grade level so you will have the opportunity to cheer with others in your grade/age level.  If your child is interested, please contact Allison Binkley (614-499-0349, allisonmbinkley@aol.com) or Ali McKnight (614-530-2445; alisonemcknight@gmail.com) by June 30th.
