Spring signals the kickoff to many of our infrastructure and maintenance projects, several of which are slated to start this week. Keep an eye out for the following activities around the city:
▶️Storm Sewer Cleaning:
Over the next month, we will use special equipment to clean out storm sewer pipes. You may hear noises occasionally and encounter crews as they move around.
▶️Street Paving:
Columbia Gas will begin paving areas where gas line improvements were completed late last year. This work is expected to begin Monday, May 2.
Traffic will be temporarily shifted on May 3 & 4 on Goodale Boulevard and Bobcat Avenue to accommodate street paving following utility work related to construction. Please use caution if you are planning to travel through this area.
▶️Alley Tree Trimming:
The Service Department will be trimming overgrown trees in alleys throughout the city over the course of the next few months. Access to residences and garages will be maintained while work is completed. Any alley closure will be rolling and should be brief.
