[ARCHIVED] Goodale Boulevard Improvements UPDATE

The Grandview West Project is progressing nicely. Work on Saturday will no longer be needed unless there are rain days or other delays during the work week.
There will be a one day traffic restriction on Urlin at Goodale next week (week of September 1) to allow a storm sewer to be installed. Local traffic will be maintained through the intersection.
The full closure of the Urlin/Goodale intersection will begin Monday September 8 and last for 2 weeks. When it reopens on September 22 is it expected that Goodale from Urlin west to Lincoln will also be opened to traffic. Sidewalks and seeding will be installed after the street is open to traffic.
Beginning September 2 the final grading and filling of Goodale between Urlin and Grandview will begin. The only traffic that will be permitted on that section of street will be to residences and park use. A rock “drive” will be created and all traffic is requested to stay on the rock surface. “Cut through” traffic will not be able to turn at Broadview. Please observe this closure for everyone’s safety.
On September 4 and 5 Grandview Avenue at Goodale will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction to allow for the installation of a storm sewer across the intersection. Traffic may experience delays – please use an alternative route if possible.
