Council Seeking Resident to serve on Board of Zoning Appeals

City Council is seeking a resident to serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA).  This is filling an unexpired term which expires December 31, 2022.  Members of the BZA serve without compensation.  All members must be residents of the City and possess special knowledge in one or more of the following areas:  construction, architecture, fine arts, engineering, landscape architecture; members may be required to have other such qualifications as determined by Council.  The BZA meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month on an as-needed basis.

The BZA hears and decides appeals where it is alleged there is an error in order, requirement, decision or determination made in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance in residential districts.

Those interested in being part of the Board of Zoning Appeals should submit letters of interest and a resume to Leilani Napier, Clerk of Council, 1016 Grandview Avenue or lnapier@grandviewheights.org no later than 5 p.m. on September 28, 2020.
