Be the Light in Grandview Heights

Christmas Light Strand

In order to keep everyone safe this holiday season, our annual tree lighting will have a new twist this year – and we need your help! The tree will still be lit on December 1 at 7:00 p.m. However, instead of gathering near the Grandview Center to watch the tree light up, we are asking all residents to participate in Be the Light in Grandview Heights from the comfort of your home! With your help, we can progressively light up the entire city from west to east. On December 1, we are asking you to decorate your homes and flip your holiday lights on at the times listed on the map. Each section in the map will turn their lights on at an exact time in hopes to make Grandview Heights LIGHT UP. We encourage everyone to participate - including our business community - to make this a special night to remember.

On December 1, we also kick off 12 Days of Bubbles the Elf! This is free way to get a fun surprise every day. Drive by and pick up a free activity kit to take home and complete with your family. Kits can be picked up from the Grandview Center (1515 Goodale Blvd) on a daily basis to the first 150 people. Pick up times are Monday-Friday 7:30am-8:30 am, 11:30 am-12:30 pm, OR 4:30 pm-5:30 pm AND Saturday-Sunday 11:00 am-12:30 pm. Check out this calendar to preview additional activities.
